About When / If

When / If began as a project to wrest hope out of what seemed like a hopeless world. With fascism mounting and climate change accelerating – while the powers that be either stand idly by or actively fan the flames – it can seem like we are out of options and out of luck.

But the truth is we are together in being on our own. And that means we can do something about it.

When / If's mission is to give you robust analyses of the current landscape and the tools to prepare for an uncertain future and to build community so we can survive it. Once we start seeing the problems of our capitalist hellscape clearly, we better understand how it might impact the folks we love – and we can plan against it.

When / If is explicitly leftist, anticapitalist, antiracist, pro-LGBTQIA+, abolitionist content. If that's not your speed, this probably isn't for you.
